Fractions have two numbers and a line between the two numbers.It is also like a shape that is divided into equal part and the number that is on top is the number the is shaded in.
There are many things I know about fractions. You have the put the part that is shaded on the top which is called a numerator. The second thing I know about fractions is the whole number of the fraction which goes on the bottom. That Is called the denomenator.
Fractions are part of numbers like 1/4 would be split in a circle with 4 spaces open with one shaded.they also represent whole numbers.You also have to put the part that is shaded on the top which is called the numerator.The part that is white goes on the bottom which is the denominator.I also know how to add and subtract fractions you only use the numerator number to subtract and add fractions and you keep the denominator the same. when you represent fractions in pictures you are actually cutting a shape into equal parts.You never want to split a shape into uneven parts or else it is not a fraction.the highest that you will see a denominator will be up to 12.some fractions can be equivalent some may be greater than others and others may bel less than some other ones.

I also know that when you are adding fractions you have to add to numerators then keep the denominator the same. when you are subtracting do the same thing that you do when you add. the is many ways to make one whole like 8/8 6/6 5/5 4/4 2/2. these are just sume of the ways to make a whole.
